KIM REESE
Kim Reese holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Social Work, with a focus in administration, from the University of South Carolina. Prior to joining The Angle, her primary focus has been grants and project management, data collection and oversight, and evaluation of outcomes for non-profits for the past 10 years.
Mrs. Reese is organizationally skilled and a critical thinker, and brings that experience to The Angle.
SR. LITIGATION PARALEGAL
MICHELLE HELSCHER
Michelle received her Bachelor of Science Degree from East Carolina University in 2004. Michelle has over 15 years of paralegal experience, specializing in catastrophic personal injuries. She has worked for two prominent SC law firms, where she served as lead trial paralegal for trials in South Carolina, Mississippi and New Jersey. In addition to her paralegal experience, Michelle brings 7 years of experience working in a multi-office physician’s practice where patients’ needs ranged from chronic pain syndrome to traumatic brain injuries. What drives Michelle is her passion for helping others, especially when she can make a difference for those whose lives have been drastically altered due to injury.
Specialty: Medical Records Specialist.
Degree: School administrator with experience as an interpreter, supervisor, education area, customer service, and sales.
Fun Fact: His abilities and extensive knowledge in different areas allowed him to develop a website for a company in the country.

Medical Records Supervisor
Degree: Currently studying Translation and International Correspondence/ Linguistics Science with a Specialization in Translation and Interpretation.
Fun Fact: Experience teaching Spanish to people from the USA, Korea, Japan, and India. Currently studying Guatemalan Sign Language and Korean.

Specialty: Medical Records Specialist
Degree: Bilingual Secretary with studies in Social Work. Plans to study a Master's degree in Management Development.
Fun Fact: Previously taught Spanish online to students from USA and around the world. Enjoys all sports, especially soccer. Spends her free time with her family also as a Youth Group Leader at her church.

Specialty: Legal Support Specialist.
Degree: Received her bachelor’s degree in legal and social sciences. She is currently pursuing a degree in law and plans to pursue a Master of Human Rights degree.
Fun fact: She likes to spend her free time doing volunteer activities. She has been an active member of Lions International since 2019 and President of her Leo club in Antigua, Guatemala. She enjoys being with her family and friends.

Specialty: Medical Records Specialist
Degree: Currently pursuing her degree as an ESOL teacher for secondary students. Plans to continue her studies to become a Certified Translator and learn other languages such as French and Portuguese.
Fun Fact: She brings a lot of previous experience to her current role, having advanced her career from a hotel receptionist, Managing Secretary, and Human Resources professional. Enjoys leading a young people's group at her church.

Specialty: Medical Records Specialist
Degree: Currently pursuing her degree as an ESOL teacher for secondary students. Plans to study international relations in the future.
Fun Fact: She is always interested in continuing education, and has completed Disability Fundamentals Training.

Specialty: Medical Records Specialist.
Degree: Currently enrolled in the field of Graphic Design, with future plans to delve into photography and pursue a Master's degree in digital marketing.
Fun Fact: She is the founder of a digital studio specializing in graphic design, branding, and social media strategy. She previously worked as a customer service agent for an insurance company in the United States.

Specialty: Executive Assistant to Amy Johnson, the owner of The Angle
Raney, a licensed English teacher with a degree from the University of St. La Salle, has experience in private and public education, specializing in English and journalism. She later worked as a paralegal assistant, enhancing her organizational and analytical skills. Now, she supports project management at The Angle, ensuring efficiency and strategic coordination.

Specialty: Litigation Paralegal
Experience: Holds a bachelor’s degree in history and political science, as well as an associate’s degree in science in an applied skill, where she received her paralegal certificate. Amber has spent the past four years working in the legal field and enjoys working on litigation cases from inception to completion.
Fun Fact: She has three children and enjoys traveling to new places for new experiences and seeing waterfalls.

With seven years as a paralegal, Teal bridges medical facts and legal arguments, leveraging her background as a paramedic to navigate complex injury and malpractice cases. Her expertise in medical terminology and treatment protocols gives her a unique edge.
Fun Fact: Teal is addicted to sunshine and jumped out of an airplane at 14,000 feet and lived.

Experience: With over 25 years of experience, Claire is a seasoned paralegal with a comprehensive understanding of the litigation process. She has worked in a range of practice areas with some of the most prominent firms in Charleston, South Carolina. Her experience includes personal injury, construction law, family law, and corporate law.
Fun Fact: Claire and her husband live on a small farm that is also home to honeybees, chickens, ducks, geese, and a Bluetick Coonhound.

Experience: Graduated cum laude from the University of Colorado and earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California. Bree is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the California State Bar. She has over 35 years of experience favorably resolving hundreds of medical, health care, and product liability claims involving death and catastrophic injuries, and has negotiated multiple millions of dollars in claims settlements. She has advanced expertise in claims investigation, medical/technical research, and dispute resolution.
