Arrival Day: No Worries!
From the moment you exit the Aurora International Airport (GUA), leave everything to us! Our professional driver will greet you and usher you to the waiting transport van for the 45-minute drive to Antigua. Once at the hotel, you'll have time to unpack, relax, check out your goody bag, and enjoy a welcome beverage as you meet the other Retreat guests. We will enjoy a casual dinner and a fun-format CLE activity to kick off!
Thursday: What's In Your File?
Each morning you'll enjoy coffee and a light breakfast. On Thursday, you will find Hidden Gems in Everyday Records as we work on technical skills in the morning and help you find your seat in our very own Litigation Lab. We will have time for a wellness workshop before our catered lunch, and then you'll have several hours for free time or a city tour before re-gathering for our sunset CLE. Each evening we will venture out for a delicious dinner at some of Antigua's best restaurants.
Friday: Putting It All Together
On Friday, we will split the morning sessions between Assembling Your Damages Case and Building Your Brand, and of course leave time for the Litigation Lab. The goal for Friday is to reinvigorate you about your work and your career. We have a special treat planned for the afternoon, a little bit of free time, and then a delicious dinner. For those who want to explore the Antigua night life, we'll make sure you can do that safely. If you prefer to head back to the hotel for socializing in a quieter setting, that's always an option too.
Saturday: Creativity for the Win!
After our morning routine and packing in one more skills workshop where you will put the finishing touches on your multi-media demand package, you will have the option of a guided excursion to experience a bit more of the country or to wander Antigua on your own. Later in the evening, we'll head to dinner and maybe even find some salsa dancing. No guilty feelings this weekend because you can feel good about creating real content your legal team can use when you return to the office next week!
Departure Day: Ready, Set, Go!
On the departure day, breakfast will be offered at your leisure. You'll have one final opportunity to buy souvenirs at the local artisans' market and then our driver will take you to the airport. You'll return home - with lots of amazing memories, a solid group of newfound friends, and a whole toolbox of case resources - ready to put into action everything we've practiced this week!
